daily reading 36.2 (Ephesians 4:32–5:2)
5-days-a-week through Romans and the letters Paul wrote from Rome in 2024
Our opening prayer for this week:
Lord, one thing I ask you:
hold in check my pride,
as a child obedient
at its mother's side.
All your sons and daughters
to your heart are dear:
let us now and always
trust, and never fear. Amen.
Ephesians 4:32–5:2
- And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
- 1 Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children, 2 and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.
