daily reading 45.2 (Colossians 4:15–18)

5-days-a-week through Romans and the letters Paul wrote from Rome in 2024

Our opening prayer for this week:

    Lord, keep us steadfast in your Word;
    Curb those who by deceit or sword
    Would seek to overthrow your Son
    And to destroy all he has done.

    Lord Jesus Christ, your power make known,
    For you are Lord of lords alone;
    Defend your Christendom that we
    May sing your praise eternally.

    O Comforter of priceless worth,
    Send peace and unity on earth.
    Support us in our final strife,
    And lead us out of death to life. Amen.

Colossians 4:15–18

  • Give my greetings to the brothers and sisters in Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her home.
  • 16 After this letter has been read at your gathering, have it read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea.
  • 17  And tell Archippus, "Pay attention to the ministry you have received in the Lord, so that you can accomplish it."
  • 18 I, Paul, am writing this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
